Music Ministry
The musical program of Bethlehem Church is rich and varied.
We are definitely a “Singing Church,” and we love to follow the instructions of John Wesley,
to sing the songs of faith with passion and spiritual enthusiasm.
We have reason to be grateful to God for the many musical gifts given to our congregation by voice and instrument. It has proven a great strength of our worship life for many, many years.
Music Ministry 9:30am Contemporary Service
Praise Team
Mr. Robert Huska leads a group of fine musicians and vocalists
who offer themselves in leadership inspiring our worship with contemporary Christian music.
They rehearse before the Contemporary Worship Service.
You are welcome to join in their offering of praise. Guitars, keyboard and drums give strength to their sound.
Kids Praise
Kids Praise practice and lead the congregation in worship songs during our contemporary worship service.
Children in grades 3-6 are dismissed from worship and join Chad and Deanna Thatcher to practice and praise.
Music Ministry : 10:30am Traditional Service
CHANCEL CHOIR
The choir consists of 30 mixed voices and an organist/accompanist.
They sing at least one anthem on Sundays at the 10:30 am service from early September to early June.
In addition, they always prepare a cantata for Christmas and sometimes Easter,
and special music for the annual Music Sunday in April.
An effort is made to ensure that selections are synchronized to the sermon topics and to the seasons of the Church year.
The director is Ms Natalie Smith.
They perform a variety of musical genres from classical to country; from country to spirituals.
They rehearse every Wednesday at 7:15 pm.
We are always glad to have new voices join the effort in singing praises to God.

JUNIOR CHOIR
This is a group of kids who sing and worship the Lord together under the direction of Ms. Natalie Smith each week.
Children from kindergarten through age 13 are invited to join us.
Rehearsals are held each Sunday during the 10:30 am worship service.
Immediately following the Children's Message with the Pastor, they gather together and sing in the Sunday School room downstairs in the church.
Rehearsals start in September and conclude in May.
The choir sings during several worship services throughout the year and performs one mini-musical.
Their musical offerings are always an inspiration to our congregation...
we love the children, and they love learning the lessons the songs of faith can teach.

BELL CHOIRS
Mr. James Stine has assembled a wonderful group of ringers
who prepare anthems to perform during the high seasons of the church calendar.
We are so glad that this group has begun and encourage interested ringers to join them.
They rehearse on Sunday after the 10:30am worship serivce.
Members of this group will also join the choir to add their musical quality to the presentation of anthems.
